Mary “Pat” Smith was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland where she began her
career with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, dedicating 19 years to a variety of roles before transferring to the Administrative Services Division at Headquarters in Washington, D.C.
In 1987, Pat accepted the assignment of Administrative Officer for the FBI’s Los Angeles Division. She later returned to FBI Headquarters where she continued her service with the Bureau’s Laboratory and Information Resources Divisions. Pat retired from the Bureau in 2002.
In retirement Pat worked for eight years for the U.S.Army, Fort Belvoir, Virginia and later volunteered with the Womens Auxiliary at the Virginia Hospital Center, Arlington, Virginia.
After a 30 year resident of Alexandria, Virginia, Pat relocated to Ft. Myers, Florida where she is enjoying retirement.
