Announced the results of more than 100 arrests of violent offenders across Maryland and Delaware. From July 20 through August 5, the FBI Baltimore Field Office, in coordination with more than a dozen federal, state, and local law enforcement partners, conducted a regional fugitive apprehension surge resulting in 109 arrests, the seizure of three firearms, and the removal of dangerous offenders from communities across Maryland and Delaware. Announced a $5,000 reward and a new FBI tip line, for information leading to the successful prosecution of criminals who violate the Preventing Animal Cruelty and Torture (PACT) Act, a federal law that carries penalties of up to seven years in prison. Those who have evidence against anyone suspected of breaking this law is encouraged to email the FBI at LA-AnimalCrimesTipline@ic.fbi.gov.
